Slaine, a drum and bass producer for Birmingham, has been active for a number of years constantly refining and perfecting his production style, one foot on the dance floor the other in the studio. Combining alien soundscapes with punchy percussive rollers, drawing on a variety of influences from across the electronic music spectrum to craft insatiably heavy, yet infectious beats.
His hard work in the studio has also paid off seeing releases on a number of respected labels; Regression Media, Skutta Records, Rawganics, Rotation UK, Atmomatix Records have all taken an interest in his distinct style with the total still rising. His output as a producer also goes beyond the mere construction of tracks; an active creator and contributor seeing his first sample pack release in September 2017.
With a fondness for home made dub plates and exclusive releases (most notably from collective turned record label Listening Sessions) his sets guarantee to invigorate any line-up - and it shows, - commanding the attention of Ray Keith, BBC Introducing and a number of brands based within the city.
Securing a number of releases over the coming months it appears things are primed to move from strength to strength, fuelled by a desire to embrace local culture and a deep attachment to that he loves most - the music.
